Temperature Monitoring System (TMS) *Please reference our download section to view a document regarding the limitations of temperature monitoring systems in live fire training structures. HTL installs advanced temperature monitoring systems. The systems monitor and record temperatures in burn chambers. We typically install temperature sensors (thermocouples) on the ceiling to provide a relative measure of the hottest temperature in the room. Typical readings record temperatures in excess of 1800 degrees F on the ceiling, but only 205 degrees F behind System 203.
The temperature monitoring recorder, housed away from the burn rooms, is a tool that records the temperatures caused by fire training evolutions (above). The data can then be retrieved from the recorder or transferred to a personal computer (below). 
Shown is a temperature monitoring sensor that records the temperatures achieved in a burn room. Sensors are also placed behind our lining to insure that it is effectively protecting the structure. |
