Specifications : Submittal

Submit the following (with Bid Package):

  1. Evidence of installer qualification: Installer's evidence of being certified by manufacturer for installation of the thermal lining system.

  2. Certificate of Conformance: Manufacturer's certification that materials and equipment are physically and chemically compatible with each other, that materials are in compliance with requirements of this specification, and that each material and/or equipment is suitable for the intended purpose. Materials/ Equipment not listed on the certificate will not be permitted in the work area.

  3. Materials Certification: A letter from the manufacturer shall be furnished certifying that materials shipped meet the manufacturer's specification data.

  4. Samples: Samples of materials to be used in the installation of the thermal lining system, including the thermal tile and anchoring system.

  5. Shop drawings: Submit three copies of shop drawings showing installation for approval prior to installation.

  6. Pre-installation Conference: Prior to installation of the thermal lining system, a meeting will be scheduled at the project site with the manufacturer/installer and owner's representatives. The purpose of this meeting will be to tour the project and review requirements (contract documents), submittals, proposed installation schedule, requirements for inspection, governing regulations, insurance requirements and proposed installation procedures.
