Dear Mr. Glover,
I wanted to take a moment and express to you my satisfaction with a class I recently attended, which was sponsored by High Temperature Linings. It was hosted by George Reaney who proved to be exceptionally knowledgeable in his chosen fields of study.
I have been in the fire service for 18 years, the last 10 as fire instructor. Our training center(s) have been, and continue to be, a major focal point for firefighter training. Unfortunately, they have been a minor focal point for construction planning, funding, and routine maintenance. I am ashamed to admit that I learned more about our training center during the one-day training, than I have learned in 18 years. The class was a true eye-opener.
George was kind enough to travel to Cottonwood after the class and visit our training center. HTL provided us with valuable resource material and references which enabled us to conduct research that assured us that our center was in a condition which is safe for our firefighters. We would like to thank you for allowing him to come to Arizona and hope that he may return in the future to continue this important education effort.
Respectfully,
David Marshall
Deputy Chief
